A View Over the River Stour to the Westside.
This is one of my favourite Wilden Marsh views from the edge of South Pool. A ferret lives just over the river here. I have tried to photograph it for a few weeks. Like most animals on the marsh, it sees me first and is very quick on its feet. Of course, I have tried creeping from behind the bushes with my camera to eye, but that’s the time the ferret fails to appear. At least I think it’s a ferret: long, low white furry animal running through the rushes. I can’t think what else it could be.
That is a lovely scene with the sun through the bare tree and the water reflections, Michael! Ha, ha on creeping through the bushes–that never seems to work as planned.
Thanks, Ellen. I’m glad you like the scene. Maybe the only way I will get a photo of the ferret is with a camera trap.
Lovely landscape.
Thanks, Sherry. I’m glad you likr the image.
