At the Marsh Badger Setts
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve seen increasing signs of activity outside the marsh badger setts. Extensive spring cleaning has taken place, and much spoil has appeared around the entrances. Yesterday I set up two camera traps to capture any overnight action. Below is the result of my efforts:
Funny looking badger is all I can say!
Funny you should point that out, Geo. I had a strong suspicion that this long legged brown animal wasn’t a badger.
I watched this three times trying to figure out what this mammal is. Wonderful that you captured whoever it is.
It’s a muntjac deer, Jet.
Oh thank you so much, Michael! That’s a new one to me.
🙂
Interesting.
It would be if it was deer living in holes in the ground, Tom.
Lots more badger activity here too
Good! I’m glad to hear badgers are active with you too, Alex.
