Lagoon Field Snipe
Category: Wilden Marsh Nature Reserve
What a marvellous photograph!
Thanks, Anne. I’m glad that you like the image. 🙂
The most beautiful and haunting sound I have ever heard was that of a Common Snipe diving from the heights and thrumming its wings with the ventriloquistic sound of a ghost floating over the misty alfalfa fields.
I know what you mean, Roger.
