I’m always grateful for offers of help on the marsh. There have been occasions when the herd has refused to enter or exit the parcel of land between the reserve and nature area. I have had to call in Rangers to assist.
The cattle have an eye open for any opportunity to escape to pastures new and they can be very quick and determined to take advantage if they see one.
