What’s Going On?

I checked OtterCam this afternoon. The camera and mounting spike had been pushed over, the casing split open, and its twelve batteries were open to the weather. Of the five videos recorded: one showed a badger, and four the ground. There wasn’t a recording of the camera being bowled over, but I bet the badger is the culprit.

I changed the memory card, closed and locked the camera case, and all seemed ok again. Some of the marsh animals seem intent on giving OtterCam a good kicking; I guess they don’t appreciate me getting so close.

Maybe they value their privacy. Have you tried offering them money?
