Lazy Bend In The River

This is a good place to see otters and mink hunting early in the morning and late at night.

It can get a bit spooky here in the dead of night, though, with muntjac barking; heron, fox and owl screeching, and badgers grunting and rummaging in the under growth.

If I’m really fortunate, still and ultra quiet, I might see the feint glow of Voglestein’s briar as he silently paddles his coracle around the bend….
