Clearly a popular spot for everyone!
It’s typical of wherever I place a camera trap on the river or brook banks, providing there are signs of activity there in the first place. I have five camera traps that use a great quantity of batteries and generate a lot of footage, 95% of which I delete.
Was that a magpie collecting stones? I loved that. We don’t have them here in Maryland…just crows.
It is indeed a magpie. The river and brook are in flood, so it probably picked up something floating on the water.
