Spoilt Marsh Cattle

The marsh herd of fifteen cattle (cows, bullocks and a bull) are grazing the south entrance section and Hillary Road field. They have only been in these compartments for six days and are already pressurising me to let them into the South Riverside Pasture. I think I have been too generous with them recently. When I walk anywhere near, they bellow, moo and nag me to open the gate. Rose, the black and white cow, has such a piercing bellow I can’t help but cringe when I hear it. The three cattle centre front are: Tyson Bullock with Rocky Bullock behind him, and Terry Bull to their right.

Hillary Road Field needs a lot more grazing before they enjoy the lushness of the South Riverside Pasture and South Pool.

  1. Just like humans, the grass is always greener elsewhere for cows.
