South End of North Pond

Evening View of the South End of North Pond

The North Pasture hasn’t been grazed at all this growing season, and it is very lush at the moment. My plan is to graze this pasture as lightly as possible this year, and then graze it hard just before the next growing season. I want to keep the cattle out of the Swamp and North Pasture whilst the toads are mating (during March), and when the orchids are growing (May and June).

Nice flowering rush around North Pond at the moment.
