Redundant Sugar Silos

This sunet view of large silos was photographed from the Lagoon Field. The whole area captured by this image was a sugar processing factory situated along the north west bank of the Lower Stour Valley. Originally opened in 1925, it ceased production in 2004 and is now a combined residential, leisure and business estate.

Very striking image but slightly creepy in a way. Perhaps it is reminiscent of a horror film setting.
