The West Side Herd

These are part of the west side herd, from over the river Stour. They appear interested in everything I do. If I stand looking at them, they stand staring at me. When I walk up and down the south marsh, they walk with me too. The east end herd, Shetlands and Belted Galloways, shout at the west side herd whenever they see them; the Galloways bellow and show them their backsides.

  1. I love your cow pictures and behavior descriptions. This takes me back to my teenage years when my dad had a small herd that entertained me with similar antics.
