Do you know what sort of bats you have on the marsh? I assume the ones in my garden are pipistrelles. I think we attract the mozzies they like to eat! 🙂

I’m feeling that Frogmella is not an appropriate name for a Slob-Galloway.
I am surprised as I assumed cows stopped grazing at night. Why is it her last supper?
It was almost midnight.
After her last supper, she will have a short rest. Her next meal will be an early breakfast.
Cows aren’t ruled by clocks like silly people are! Nice to get a glimpse of a passing bat too 🙂
When I switch my head torch on at night on the marsh, I’m usually surprised by the number of bats zooming every which way around my head.
