Thin on the ground.

When there aren’t many other insects around to photograph, I can usually find a bluebottle willing to pose for me.

    • An open mind can appreciate beauty in all manner of things, Cara. Nature has designed flies to carry out particular tasks that help keep a natural balance: “There was an old lady that swallowed a fly” is a good example.
