  1. lovely to hear your voice. It’s such a peaceful scene. Could just hear the buzzards too. Beautiful.

      • You have a lovely, easy to listen to, voice. And I enjoyed the video. Do you do any radio work? Ive done some this year which has been an interesting experience. I’ve learned a lot in just a few months.

      • Thanks Karen, my confidence is growing as a result of your comment. No, I haven’t done any radio work. Sounds interesting, though:)

      • Do what I did, ring your local station and offer to go in and talk about your work/interests. They are always looking for people to appear on the programmes. After that, offer to go in on a regular basis, say once a week, when people can phone in and ask questions about the Marsh. Let me know how you get on. Good luck

  2. I think you have piqued Billy’s interest. I told you that you had trolls, what else would move a heavy sleeper from an overgown bridge? They are underneath ….

    • Billy Bull was the first to reach the Rhombus Field gate. Gingerly he walked through and put one hoof and then another onto the rickety bridge, however hard he tried his hooves went trip trap, trip trap on the wooden planks.

Suddenly there was a huge roar. ‘Who’s that trip trapping over my bridge?’ Out from under the bridge loomed a large, ugly Troll with two sharp horns on his head.

Billy Bull gruffly roared, ‘It’s only me. I’m going to be look for some lovely grass to eat – nothing to worry about – just let me pass.’

‘No! I’m going to eat you for my breakfast, lunch and tea for the next week’ said the troll.

‘Oh dear! What am I going to do now? I want that grass and I don’t want any trouble.’ squeaked Billy Bull.

‘Out of my way!’ roared Rose, and she pushed Billy Bull aside and tossed that ugly Old troll far away into next Wednesday. ‘I told him before not to pull another stunt like that again!’ said Rose.
