The first Hoo Wood bluebell of 2016 now has a companion a metre away. These images are of the second bluebell. In case you are wondering, it is not my intention to photograph every bluebell in the wood.
This plant is already host to its first aphid; do you see it?

Wonderful 😊
I think that you should try to get them all. It would be a unique record.
It would mean too much time on my Knees, Tom.
Certainly don’t give them names, you’ll get too attached to them! Beautiful photos btw 🙂
Thanks. There were 3 bluebells in Hoo yesterday.
Nope, can’t see the aphid!
You are not looking closely enough, Emily.
Aargh, frustrating! Any clues?!
It’s small, green and has 6 legs.
Close to the pollen in the middle image.
