House Cleaning (2 images and a video)

Mike Averill and I cleaned 18 unoccupied houses in two hours this morning. We worked very hard and methodically. I climbed the ladder, accessed the houses and did the cleaning, whilst Mike inspected the rubbish the and made notes in his little black book. Of the 18 houses we worked on, 17 had been occupied and two contained old eggs. The houses are now ready for new residents.

We have bat boxes locally on the Ridgeway – must be a challenge sorting them out when they are high in the trees.
