The Wilden Marsh Blog

Monthly Archives: March 2016

The South Pool water level is still too high. Can you see the hot air balloon?

The first Hoo Wood bluebell of 2016 now has a companionĀ a metre away. These images are of the second bluebell. In case you are wondering, it is not my intention to photograph every bluebell in the wood. This plant is already host to its first aphid; do you see it?

There are daffodils, periwinkles, flowering currant, 2 bluebells and hawthorn blooming in Hoo Wood at the moment, and not many of any of them.

Hoo Wood was battered last night by a storm.
