Withy Wood to the right and Hoo Wood on the left. There were at least 40 ducks of various kinds, moorhens and coots swimming happily in this body of water, until one of my generously sized clodhopper caught on a submerged tree stump. I stumbled and the whole menagerie immediately took flight, or ran along the water surface to disappear into the safety of Withy Wood. Between the two woods is where muntjac deer hangout.
