Great atmospheric photo. 😀
Thanks, Raewyn.
Beautiful! I love the early morning mist 🙂
Thanks! This image was shot at around 11.30 am and the mist is water vapour rising out of the ground as a result of earlier sunshine. Vapour was virtually hissing from the bare earth digger tracks.
It just looks such a beautiful place…and I love the idea of documenting it. I thought of doing something similar (in my own small way) of the moors where I live – near the famous ‘Ilkley moor’ in Yorkshire. It must be very time consuming, but very rewarding.
Managing Wilden Marsh takes a lot of time: this blog doesn’t. Thinking is easy, but doing is more satisfying. If you want to blog about Ilkley Moor, perhaps you should do it. 😉
A good scene for a ghost story.
Wilden Marsh has its fair share of ghosts, Emily. Stone Age man thrived in this area.
We are walking in the footsteps of so many others. I can almost see shadowy figures moving amongst the steam.
Like me, Emily, you are probably psychedelic.
