Beautiful!
I’m glad you like the image.
Very striking!
A splash of colour and the grey background really accentuates the beauty of this small copper butterfly.
lovely shot, it makes the butterfly pop out.
The image sums up my day, Bruce: grey and colourful!
It is very colourful Mike but what is it?
Joyce, it’s a comma butterfly on. Very grey day.
It doesn’t look like a comma in my book, that is why I asked. Sorry to be so twp.
Oh dear! Have I made a mistake?
Maybe not, my little book has deceived me more than once 🙂
Can you check for me please, Joyce. ;(
I will try but I am no expert. I think you are far more knowledgeable than I
There is nothing wrong with being wrong, Joyce, and don’t let anyone tell you differently. If I am wrong I will remember, and so will you. Being wrong is a good way of learning, as long as someone is courageous enough to speak up.
Thanks Mike. I think the butterfly might be a small copper 🙂
I think you are right, Joyce. Thank you! 🙂
Clever how you’ve done that. I’m amazed any butterfly was brave enough to fly yesterday.
It was quick and easy to do, Emily. I was prompted by a very grey day and jet lag. I guess I was doodling.
Clever. How did you achieve this type of photo?
I wanted a method of maximising the viewer’s attention on the butterfly, so I did a bit of masking.
