Who’s been digging here?

Sunrise: 06.49 Sunset: 05.54

Tonight my torch beam picked up new digging at the entrance to the north marsh vixen’s old summer den in the side of a bank not far from the new living otter holt. The den was partly destroyed laying down the northern corridor last year. My first thought was that the vixen might be responsible for this fresh spoil. Paw prints were visible, but not clear in my torchlight. I took a few photographs to inspect later at home, where all became clear; fresh rabbit droppings, invisible before, were highlighted by the camera’s flash.
