It’s not unusual to find shieldbugs in January; we haven’t had a hard frost yet.
Oh that is new to me. I only see them up here, 750 ft when it is high summer. Can’t be looking carefully perhaps.
They come out of cracks in tree trunks at night. I shot the little fella late evening. It all happens in the dark. 😎
