A very quick shot of a Muntjac Deer.
I heard a rustling to my right, when creeping around North Pond. My camera swung up to my eye automatically.

Great photo. I love the drops of water on the grass. Every time I spot a deer in the woods I miss the shot as I’m always so surprised.
I always find it difficult not to jump onto action when I spot something worth photographing. Sometimes swinging a camera into action gets me the image, but mostly it doesn’t. A lot depends on how quickly the camera and lens will lock on to a subject.
