Being no insect (they do have 6 legs), the spider apparently lost its 8th leg. I happen to have a photo of a grass-hopper with a crippled (6th) leg.
It’s survival of the fittest, Andrzey. If you lose a leg or two, you adapt or die; it’s war out there in the bushes. 😉
