  1. Nice image. This looks a lot like the mallow that volunteers in our garden (Gulf Islands, British Columbia). Very pretty plant and it brightens up our summer garden beds, but challenging to keep in check as it grows very large and puts out a huge number of seeds – I’m always way behind on the deadheading! .

    • Thank you, Laurie. The musk mallow doesn’t grow in huge numbers on the marsh; I would say that there is a sprinkling of them there. 🙂
