Mr. and Mrs. Badger returning home from a night out.
Lovely shot. A useful way to keep tabs on nocturnal animals and their habits. Interesting to see a pair returning together. Do they have regular routes and foraging habits? Here UCT have an interesting project currently underway to assess the numbers of the Peninsula’s mammals. Think we’re in for some surprises; really hoping we have a few elusive Cape Leopards…..
Badgers go back a long way; I have a fossil of a 12 million year old badger.
