You seem to be further ahead than us, which is odd as I’m on the south coast. I’ve noted over the past couple of days that all spring growth seems to have been put on hold.
Yes, Jule. Snowdrops flowered in Doncaster a week or so before I saw any in Kidderminster. I was in Kingham in Oxfordshire in mid February, and snowdrops and crocuses were well in flower. Inspite of the cold and snow, the daffodils have bloomed on time, perhaps a week earlier than last year.

I agree…Mike seems to live in a frost free zone…I’m in the Netherlands and it’s like Siberia here the last couple of days…

Interestingly, the elder tree in our garden (here in the Gulf Islands, British Columbia) is at almost exactly the same stage!
