I’m not an authority on butterflies or anything but I checked it out and I think it is more likely to be a Ringlet (Aphantopus hyperantus)….I just think the spots on the wings are too small to be a Woodland Brown. Good to see a butterfly though 🙂 …due to all this rain I don’t see many at all this summer…

We call it in brown forrest bird (Aphantopus hyperantus) in german.
