We don’t have blue tits in the States (that I’m aware of), but we do have the tufted titmouse. (Is more than one titmouse called titmice? Hmm. Must look that up.) However, your bird reminds me more of a blue jay than the titmouse, mainly because of the markings on the head and around the eye. I love these photos.
Thanks for posting photos of one of my favourite birds. We don’t have them here in the States, but when I was young I enjoyed watching them peck the tops off our milk bottles and drink the cream. (It was long ago, before milk was homogonized!)
