The first is my favorite. I’m not surprised that the little crab spider went no closer. The juices that the ladybirds exude when disturbed are so acrid and bitter that, if I were a spider, I’d run the other way. Still…did you get any closer shots of the spider?
The first shot is great, but I really love that third image. I have never seen Ladybirds on the ground, only on leaves.
