Bugloss.

  1. I have Vipers Bugloss growing in my garden Mike. It attracts a lot of insects! It has self seeded over the past few years, I am now waiting for this years crop to grow and flower, they are not as forward as the one in your image. A lovely insect attracting flower but spikey so care has to be taken at the end of the growing season!

Loving all of your latest Botanical images!

  2. Thanks. Pam. You must think that I have gone camera crazy lately, and you might be right. I am on a mission to photograph as many marsh blooms and insects as I possibly can this year.

  3. Great shot, Mike. The sun was at just the right angle to catch those fine hairs.
